The President's Volunteer Service Award
The President's Council on Service and Civic Participation created the President's Volunteer Service Award program as a way to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. This award is an excellent resume-builder and recognizes individuals that have completed at least 100 hours of community service over any given 12-month period. Students, faculty and staff wishing to receive this award may set up their profile account at presidentialserviceawards.gov and track their hours from January – December , 2017s. After setting up your account, please go to the "Profile" tab to link your service to USF. You will need to enter the Record of Service Key Code for USF, to have your hours validated by the OSSA office. Please enter the key code CO-NGP-8589B; scroll down to the bottom of this page and click "update" to complete your profile.

Office for Service and Social Action Engagement Awards - Excellence in Service Engagement Awards
The Office for Service and Social Action Excellence in Service Engagement Awards, are given annually at the Spring Leadership and Service Awards. These awards recognize a USF Student, Student Group, Faculty or Staff Person, and Community Partner agency or agencies that display an extraordinary commitment to innovative and/or sustained efforts in the areas of academic, curricular or co-curricular service learning/civic engagement. Nominations are made by students, faculty and staff and winners are selected by an Awards Selection Committee drawn from community partner, faculty, staff and student representatives who serve on the Office of Service and Social Action Advisory Council.
