Become a Community Partner!

The Office for Service and Social Action currently partners with over 50 nonprofit agencies and organizations including social service agencies, schools, nursing homes, hospices, and local outreach programs. Partnerships with these organizations offer students the opportunity to serve in a diverse range of programs and social issues such as:

  • Education and Youth Programming
  • The Burmese community
  • Senior Adults
  • Health Care
  • Housing
  • Sustainability and Environment
  • Food Security

Partnerships with the OSSA help organizations to meet their goals and needs, while also offering students the opportunity to interact with a diverse variety of populations. Through this work, students are encouraged to challenge their own beliefs and assumptions about others while engaging in work that promotes justice and social action.
